About Alex

I'm a caregiver based in Forest Grove, Oregon, with experience in adult foster homes in Beaverton and Corvallis. I help with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication support, and meals. I have First Aid certification, Oregon caregiver medication training, and a cleared ODHS backgroundb check. I was studying social work before I started caregiving, and I'm now also in CNA training. I worked as a lead chef at a resort in Rocky Mountain, Colorado, so I cook healthy meals that fit each person's diet, including Caribbean dishes. I grew up in Caribbean culture, where caring for elders is part of family life, and I bring that respect to every home. I'm patient, dependable, and warm. I show up on time and keep families updated. I'm looking for steady hours with one family so your loved one sees a familiar face. I can travel and I'm open to extra shifts. In my spare time I cook, study, and build software for the financial markets.
