About Alex

Hi! I'm Alex, and I have over 7 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I've been babysitting for local families since I was 13 and have helped care for my two younger sisters and younger cousins for most of my life. For the past 3 years, I've worked in the YMCA's School's Out Program, caring for kindergarten through third-grade students after school. I've also spent several summers as a camp counselor teaching children ages 8-14 sailing, boating skills, and water safety. I love working with kids and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment through games, crafts, outdoor activities, and imaginative play. I'm reliable, responsible, have access to a car, and would love the opportunity to support your family! Vacation: June 23rd-July 3rd Camp Counselor (8-5): July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, and August 3-7 Weekends: working some weekend shifts would either be 8:30am-2:30 p.m. or 2:30pm-7:30pm, I know 3 weeks in advance
