About Alexis

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With a year of experience supporting elementary through high school students in Math, English, Science, and test preparation, I prioritize creating an engaging and patient environment. I assess your unique learning style by actively listening and observing how you interact with new material. When concepts become challenging, I keep you motivated by celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement. I believe open communication is essential for understanding your needs and setting clear expectations. My favorite part of this journey is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex topic finally clicks. I am happy to travel to your home to provide support. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and watching you gain confidence in your own abilities.
