About Alexis

Hi, I'm Alexis. I'm a certified school counselor with a Master's in Counseling and 8 years of experience helping children succeed academically and emotionally. I work with students on reading, math, study skills, focus, organization, and confidence, and I specialize in helping kids feel capable even when school feels hard. Before counseling, I supported children with autism as a therapeutic staff support, providing behavior interventions, redirection, and individualized support. That experience taught me patience, consistency, and how to meet each child where they are. I'm also a children's book author, which fuels my love for literacy and creativity in learning. As a mom to a very bright and energetic 6-year-old, I understand kids deeply from both a professional and personal perspective. My goal is simple: help your child feel confident, supported, and successful while making learning feel less stressful and more achievable.
