About Alexis

I love being around people and am very extroverted. I'm also very easy going yet professional. I find child care appealing because I find the necessary skills come very naturally to me! I am looking for a job that is flexible and communicates! I began working with kids at ages 2-12 for neighbors and family and later moved up to people in my city and nanny jobs! I'm a people person and love going on adventures with friends and family. I am a student and will be working child care into my class schedule. But, I am super flexible and willing to work with families! My top 3 child care skills are patience, mercy and my calm temperament. Patience is a necessary skill in any sort of child care and it is something I have worked to perfect! When I am more merciful and understanding, kids are more likely to make the right choices and give the same kindness to their peers. My calm temperament makes kids more comfortable and proves to be helpful in small cases of negative behavior or crisis.
