I have several years of childcare experience. I have been babysitting for 15 yrs. I worked as a tutor for three years, was a camp counselor for a year, worked at a learning center for 3. 5 years, and I have been a preschool teacher for 9 years now. I have my B. A in Child and Adolescent Development with a focus in Early Childhood. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am 32 years old. I can cook.

My wife and I are new to this whole babysitter hunt, and given the busy-ness of our work lives, the necessity to find someone to watch our daughter here and there, has grown. So it was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders when we spoke with Alexis. Her experience and understanding of nurturing a child, while also setting up appropriate boundaries and rules, makes her an asset in any household looking for assistance with raising their young ones.

Almost immediately, as soon as Alexis arrived out our home, our daughter L warmed up to her. Adding Alexis to the equation has already calmed our nerves and I can't wait for her to build a relationship with L. 

Basically, hire Alexis. She's more than worth it.

My kids (1.5 & 4.5) LOVE her. She is detail oriented , always confirms important info about bedtime routines or what the kids may need while we are out (food options, medicine, baths, etc). Gently handles tantrums, knows when to be flexible and when to set boundaries. She's confident but yet can be silly and lay on the floor and do art when duty calls. She's my first call when I need child care.

Alexis is lovely! She arrived on time. She has a calm, warm demeanor. She kept my two kids active and they loved her. She made their meals, cleaned up and put them to bed.

Alexis is fantastic! She has been assisting our 3 1/2 year old at his preschool to help him have more one on one attention as he transitions to a new school experience. She is dependable, engaging, sweet, and provides us with daily reports on how he's doing. She also provides us with great tips on things we can do at home based on what she sees at school. She has also babysat at home for both our 3 1/2 and 7 month old and is wonderful! It's hard to find someone who can handle two little ones and Alexis has no problems- the kids love her and so do we!

Alexis has been a wonderful find.  She is kind, courteous and smart.  I have two children.  A 12 year old son with autism, who can be a challenge.  It hasn't scared her away.  For that I'm grateful.  My 9 year old daughter loves her.  As a parent it's hard to trust others with your children, but I completely trust Alexis.
