I am a 28-year-old happily married mother of one. Although I do not have much experience with elderly care I did work at a nursing home as a housekeeper and helped with the activities department. I became very close with many of the residence and helped them if they needed it and chatted with them daily. It was a great experience and something I enjoyed a lot.
