About Alexis

Hi! I'm Lexi -- a certified teacher with a passion for helping students succeed. I graduated from Marywood University in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. After graduation, I worked as a long-term substitute in a 3rd-grade classroom before stepping into my current role as a full-time certified high school special education teacher. I'm now starting my 5th year of teaching and continue to love seeing students grow and gain confidence. I have experience working with students of all ages and in all core subjects, but my strongest area is Math -- from building foundational skills to tackling more advanced concepts with confidence. I'm patient, encouraging, and skilled at adapting lessons to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether your child needs help staying on track, filling in learning gaps, or building confidence in a challenging subject, I'm here to provide the support they need to thrive.
