My name is Alexis, I am a licensed speech-language pathologist currently working in a middle school setting. Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with three years of experience, I specialize in English, Special Education, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. My approach focuses on fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing your child's unique interaction with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples--to suit their individual style. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps to build momentum and celebrate every "aha!" moment along the way.
