About Alexis

Hi! My name is Alexis, and I'm a caring and experienced childcare professional who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College and am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I currently work as a Reading Interventionist in Detroit, where I work closely with students and help support their academic growth and development. I enjoy working with children from all backgrounds, languages, and demographics, and I believe every child deserves patience, understanding, and encouragement. As a date-night babysitter, my goal is to provide your child with a safe, comfortable, and fun environment while giving parents the peace of mind to enjoy their evening. I'm happy to help with age-appropriate activities, homework, bedtime routines, and keeping children engaged while you're away. I'm responsible, attentive, patient, and I take the trust that comes with caring for someone's child very seriously!
