About Alexis

My name is Alexis and I am a recent graduate from Oakland Community College achieving degrees in Liberal Arts and General Studies. Now that I have achieved my once short term goals I am furthering my academic career in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education at Rochester College. While studying Elementary Education I've worked in various early childhood education institutes in both urban and suburban areas in Michigan. I have a passion for children and teens-- as an educator I look forward to meeting new students from different backgrounds and society's- learning from them as they learn from me. Although, I'm always energetic and excited I believe in maintaining a well-organized and behaved classroom while implementing fun and thrilling academic, social, cognitive, math, art, and science activities it is my goal that children of all ages will develop a passion for learning, communicating, and taking on foreign task with confidence and joy.
