Hello! My name is Alexis! I graduated with my B. A. in criminal justice and minors in Spanish and sociology. I have always loved working and being around children, and have always been surrounded by them as I am the second oldest of 7! I am certified and finger printed to work in NYS schools. I have worked as a tutor with students from all different backgrounds and learning abilities from 1st to 12th grade. I have experience as a sitter/nanny for many families both long term and short term. I am able to accommodate those with special needs, multiple children (of all ages), and I am comfortable working with families that have pets. I have experience preparing meals, grocery shopping, light house keeping and spending quality time with many!

Alexis was available to be a last minute fill in sitter when our regular nanny quite unexpectedly. She is professional, punctual,  and great with kids. Would absolutely recommend her. 

Alexis was amazing with our kids! She watched our 4-year-old, 3-year-old, and 8-month-old, and from the moment she walked in, we knew they were in good hands. Our baby, who usually doesn’t take to strangers, immediately let her hold him—such a rare and reassuring moment!

While we were out, we checked the cameras and saw her constantly engaging with the kids—playing, teaching them to clean up, and keeping things calm and fun. We ended up staying out later than planned, and when we got home, the kids were fed, in their pajamas, and completely relaxed. That’s not easy in our usually loud and chaotic house!

She was punctual, personable, and has a great energy that kids (and parents!) respond to. Her rates were very reasonable, and there were no hidden fees—she was transparent about everything from the start.

I’d absolutely recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a trustworthy, fun, and responsible babysitter. We’ll definitely be booking her again!

Alexis really helped me out in a stressful situation! I don't live in the area, I flew in for an adults-only family wedding and desperately needed someone trustworthy to watch my kids. Alexis came over a day in advance and met the kids, and we thought she was perfect! She took great care of them the night of the wedding (served dinner, did bedtime) and we got to have a very special night out.

Alexis is helpful and polite. She is soft spoken, professional, and has great manners.
She served as the proctor for our 6th grader's achievement test. She also assisted us for his English subject, graded practice tests, and aided in making his US History Poster board.
She is a good caregiver and we enjoyed her time with us.

Lexi was such a wonderful fit with our family.  She was so understanding and worked so well with our 2 year old.  Lexi always had a smile on her face, was thoughtful and my daughter absolutely loved her (we all do).  Would rehire her without a doubt!
