About Alexis

Hi there! I'm a 23 yr old recent college graduate looking for some side jobs to supplement my income. I am a camp counselor at a local elementary school (transitioning to educator during the school year), I'm free after the workday or on weekends. The past year I worked in a pre-school to provide classroom support and literacy lessons. As a psychology major I had a particular interest in socio-emotional development and expression. In addition to my classroom experience, I was a full time nanny for two children in 2023. As for my caregiving style I'd like to say I combine a mixture of play and educational activities. I love when kids ask questions and I strive to find creative and engaging ways for children to interact with their world and peers. However, my main priority is to treat children with kindness and respect, allowing space for their emotions and collaborative solutions.
