About Alexis

Nurturing young minds is a true passion of mine, ignited by wonderful experiences helping out at my grandmother's daycare and a deep desire to positively impact children's lives. I have one year of experience helping out in a classroom and volunteering at an afterschool program for homeless children. I'm comfortable with up to three children at a time. My approach is patient, creative, and friendly. I enjoy engaging kids with creative activities, puzzles, and board games. I have some college education and some knowledge of Sign Language (ASL). I always follow parents' lead when it comes to household rules and communication preferences, providing updates at pickup or through your preferred method. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have my own car and am comfortable with pets. I hope to bring my enthusiasm and caring nature to your family.
