About Alexis

I have had experience with children through a variety of experiences. Starting in high school, I babysat for multiple families. I worked with children on weekend nights. We enjoyed playing games, watching movies and using our imagination. My number one responsibly was the safety of the children I was caring for. Also, in high school I worked as a teachers assistant in a pre-school. I helped teachers care for students, set up lessons and clean the room. I had a variety of responsibilities, but my most important responsibility was to care for the children. In college, I earned my degree in childhood and special education. I learned so much through my education, but the most important aspect was student teaching. Being emerged in the classrooms to practice behavioral plans, and implementing lesson plans taught me the importance of education. This past year I have had experience as a paid professional as a substitute teacher. Safety is always my most important responsibility.
