About Alexis

Hi, I'm Alexis! I have years of experience caring for children of all ages. As the oldest of nine, caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. I've babysat and nannied, worked in church and camp ministries, and worked at a gym daycare. I'm currently a preschool teacher for2-year-olds at a Reggio-inspired, play-based school. I love creating fun activities, getting to know each child's personality, and watching them learn and grow! I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and spunky! I'm looking for a job that helps me bring out my creative side! I started working with kids when I was 16 In my spare time, I like to swim, hike, stroll! I like almost any outdoor activity. I also like crafts, I make bracelets and necklaces. I also like to bedazzle stuff and make it sparkly! One thing you should know about me is I love Jesus! My skills include science experiments, and crafts! I'm good at putting kids to sleep. I can potty train. I'm patient and friendly!
