About Alexis

Hi there! for the past four months I have been working with k-3rd graders living with behavioral and/or special needs. I recently moved back home and have been living and taking care of my niece and nephew and they're my favorite part of waking up to and coming home to. Before working at the elementary school, I lived and worked up at a life sharing community in Vermont . The community consisted of volunteers, householders, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is my second home. I am comfortable with all age groups, as I also grew up with 7 younger brothers and have also worked in corrections and as an EMT. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and am learning more sign language. I hope I was able to provide you with some background information on myself and I am always open to any question you might have to make sure that your child(ren) is getting the best care possible :)
