DO NOT HIRE. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and walked off the job with my property. This was the absolute worst hiring experience I have ever had. I have employed long-term nannies for over 8 years, but this individual is entirely unfit for childcare. Reliability & Performance: She called out during her very first week, quit the following week, and could not handle a highly manageable schedule. She spent hours sending long, dramatic text rants asking for basic advice on how to manage the children during the brief one-hour window they were all home together. Insubordination: She explicitly violated household rules by feeding the children high-sugar foods against direct instructions. Upon quitting, she took a Tovala oven from my home, she refused to drop it off and claims she will "send it via mail". I generously provided paid lunches and full support, and she completely took advantage of my family. She is not a genuine person, highly dramatic, constantly uses "family emergencies" as excuses, and is fundamentally untrustworthy. Protect your home and your children—do not hire her under any circumstances.
