Hi there! I'm a 25-year-old originally from Dallas, TX, now living in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with my adventure buddy (my dog!). I earned my Bachelor's in Education, and stayed ever since as I fell in love with the outdoors, the community, and the slower pace of mountain life. I've been caring for children for over 10 years, from babysitting as a teen to nannying for families long-term, being an on-call sitter and tutoring. I'm flexible and love working with families in both part-time and consistent roles. I also have years of experience tutoring ages 4-18, both in person and online, and bring patience, creativity, and positivity to every session. I also have experience in cooking, cleaning, house-sitting and pet-sitting. My background includes training in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) Education, Special Education, and counseling work with youth. Alexis is such a smart, caring and dependable person. She is our go-to babysitter for our children and now even our dog when we're in a pinch! She has been super helpful with anything asked of her and yet she still offers to help with more whether that be laundry, cooking, carpool etc. She is always on time, if not a few minutes early, and has kindly shown up on time at the crazy hours we have needed help - like 5am! She is like family to us, and it is so nice to not have to worry about our children when we walk out the door. We know that they are in good hands!
