About Alexia

I am a current college student pursuing an elementary education degree, hoping to become a kindergarten teacher in the future. This being said, I have learned fun games, crafts and activities to keep kids entertained. I am the oldest child in my family and grew up pretty much helping to raise my siblings. Therefore, I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them in any way possible. I worked at a summer camp for the first time, this past summer and absolutely loved it. I worked mainly with 4-6 years olds, but also with kids up 12, where we do indoor sport activities, outdoor sport activities, and crafts all while teaching leadership habits to the kiddos. In my spare time I love adventuring new cities, new parks, new thrift stores, journaling, and crafting. I am currently just looking for a part time job for when I am not in class while also expanding my experience with kids.
