About Alexia

Since I was 8 years old, I've known I wanted to work with children, stemming from positive experiences in previous roles at The Goddard School and being a 2nd Grade Teacher and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives. With five years of experience caring for children aged 0-9, I bring a patient, creative, and friendly approach to every interaction. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I have a Bachelor's Degree for Teaching PK-5th and am currently going into my third year of teaching second grade. I always follow the parents' preferred communication method to keep you informed about your child's day or any issues that may arise. I am First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my passion for childcare to your family for date nights or after school care. :)
