I'm a recently retired Elementary School teacher and have over 30 years of experience! I am still passionate about education! I taught grades K-5 for three different public school districts in CA. I mainly taught grades K-3 . I am familiar with the special education process and have been a student advocate for my own children as well as my students in need of extra support. Additionally , I have been trained in a wide variety of reading techniques including teaching decoding skills and specifically using Signs for Sounds and Lindamood-Bell learning programs to enhance achievement. Last of all , I have personal and professional experience working with kids on the autism spectrum and those with ADD/ADHD and other learning issues. I'm currently widely available to tutor in your home or at the library. My rate of pay is negotiable to the situation. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child soon.
