About Alex

I worked as a Playground Director for the City of Dearborn this past summer. I planned physical and artistic activities for the children who came to the park and supervised them for up to six hours per day. Participants' ages ranged from 5 to 12. I hold a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance and have taught dance at various studios for the past five years. A part of my coursework was Pedagogy, which dealt with techniques to teach students in ways that helped them flourish as artists and individuals. I apply this knowledge each time I worked with children. My students' ages have ranged from 5 to 18. I have babysat my niece and a neighbor's child throughout high school and college. Both were girls under the age of 5.
