About Alexa

Hi there! I'm Alexa. I'd describe myself as fun-loving, bubbly, and easygoing! I like working with kids because they see and experience the world in such a fun way. I'm always left feeling so impressed and appreciated after spending time with children. I started working with kids when I was in high school (around 2014) and have worked with them on and off since then! I recently graduated SCAD with a degree in Interior Design and just launched my own design firm. While I'm in the process of growing my business, I'm also looking for a steady position that fits well with my schedule and allows me to do something I truly enjoy, spending time with kids and being a helpful presence to a family. In my spare time, I like to read, write, garden, and hang out with my pets. My skills include fostering a fun and comfortable environment with children, creating a safe space for them to vocalize their thoughts and needs, and inspiring them to express their authentic selves!
