About Alexa

I grew up with two younger siblings and got so much joy and fulfillment out of finding ways to make them laugh and have fun. I love to do crafts, outdoor adventures and bake with the kids I watch and believe that hands-on creative experiences are formative for children and a great way to bond and build confidence. I started working with kids outside of the home when I was 16. I regularly watched 3 three little boys for three years and loved getting to know them, as well as their individual personalities, likes and dislikes. In my own spare time I like to knit, read, play the violin, bake, draw and paint, hike, and forage for berries and other plants. My skills include several years of experience watching sibling groups, coming up with fun and creative ways to engage with kids, and excellent and reliable communication with parents.
