About Alexa

Hello! Right now, I'm finishing up my master's degree in Comparative Medicine (Lab Animal Science) at Stanford (graduating this June-yay!). I also have a bachelor's degree in Biology from Stanford, and I'm preparing to begin a PhD program in the coming year. Over the years, I've done it all-nannying, babysitting, tutoring, mother's helping, and leading after-school and educational programs. I have worked with Galileo Learning summer camps as an Extended Care leader, and I've also helped run multiple education initiatives (SPLASH) while at Stanford. I'm also a certified Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT), trained well beyond CPR to provide basic life support and emergency pre-hospital care. Outside of work and school, I have two energetic Siberian Husky pups and I am currently training for another half marathon at the end of this summer. I love staying active, being outside, and learning all about the world around us! I'd love to connect and see how I can support your family! :)
