Hello! I am Alexa. I follow a Montessori approach. Creating a routine, well rounded diet, sleep schedule if preferred and endless engaging activities for your little one. Confidence and kindness are the most important things I teach. I focus on helping littles explore their creativity and their surroundings. I encourage children to explore books, instruments and recorded music rather than screens. I have extensive experience with newborns/toddlers development. Including: nutrition, fine/gross motor skills and cognitive development ! I have successfully helped several parents navigate a post NICU life and advocate for services. I am currently studying to be a parenting professional. I am looking to work with a family full-time. I am open to taking your littles to activities within the community and to enrich their minds! Alexa was a fantastic nanny to our son. During the time that she worked with our family, we watched him truly thrive in her care. Alexa is attentive, thoughtful, energetic, punctual, and fun. I was incredibly grateful for her knowledge and genuine interest in child care and development. She was considerate about helping him reach his milestones and kept him busy and engaged with creatively enriching activities. Alexa was also flexible, great at sticking to a schedule, and genuinely respectful of our parenting style. We were very sad to see her move out of state but grateful that she gave us two months' notice and helped us transition by training our new nanny. I can't recommend Alexa highly enough. Any family would be very fortunate to work with her.
