About Alexa

I have over 8 years of paid experience in caregiving and pet care. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in child development. I am currently studying to obtain my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience with multiple children from as young as 6 weeks old and up to 17 years of age through my former work as a youth residential aide and assistant childcare teacher. I am most passionate about child and adolescent development as a caregiver. My goal as a caregiver is to provide a safe and nurturing environment and encourage growth and development. I enjoy a range of activities for different age groups such as going on outings, educational games, art activities, reading, and engaging in creative play to foster imagination. I believe in open communication with parents and am happy to regularly provide updates through any preferred communication method and ensure a fun, structured, and safe environment for your family.
