About Alexa

I have over 8 years of paid experience in caregiving and pet care. I am currently studying to obtain my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience with multiple children from as young as 6 weeks old and up to 17 years of age through my former work as a youth residential aide and assistant childcare teacher. My goal as a caregiver is to provide a safe and nurturing environment and encourage growth and development. I enjoy a range of activities for different age groups such as going on outings, educational games, art activities, reading, and engaging in creative play. I believe in open communication with parents and am happy to regularly provide updates through any preferred communication method and ensure a fun, structured, and safe environment. I am infant, child, and adult CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I have reliable transportation, am a non-smoker, and am comfortable with providing pet care to cats and dogs of any breed.
