About Alexandria

Hello! My name is Lexi and I have 8 years combined of volunteer and paid work experience. I am the oldest of five with four siblings of special needs, making me very well equipped to handle the practical, everyday aspects of caring for kids with special needs! I am a cheerful and outgoing person who does great with anxious kiddos that might have separation anxiety! I also have experience with autistic children and am calm during meltdowns. I use a lot of psychology based tactics including feeling validation, controlled choice making, co-regulation, as well as use of sensory fidget toys. I come with a fully packed nanny bag with age appropriate games, toys, and regulation tools! I look forward to working with you and meeting your kids!
