About Alexandria

What started as being a server at a senior home for some extra cash turned into a love and desire to care for those who once cared for us. I worked as a server for a Senior Living before being offered an overnight position as a caregiver for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia at that same facility. Before moving to Texas, I was a caregiver for a little short of 2 years. Working in a senior home I got to experience first hand the people who simply showed up for a paycheck and the ones who showed up to make a difference. I have always gone above and beyond for the people in my care not only because it's the right thing to do, but because we should treat others the way we want to be treated, right? Working overnight, I have gained experience with sun-downing, bed changes & repositioning to prevent sores, and transfers. I have also picked up many daytime shifts where I have gained experience w/bathing, grooming, feeding and just making myself available to the needs of my residents.
