About Alexandria

Hi! I have been working with kids my entire life and informally tutoring most of it. I have about a year and a half of formal experience, most of it from working at the Cappi Wadley center on NSU's campus. I have experience with disabled children and students with severe reading deficits. My specialty is elementary reading and I am proficient in math, science, and health. I also offer short term content area literacy assistance for a variety of subjects, reach out to me about anything not mentioned in my introduction. I have always had a passion for children's education- particularly literacy. My style is child-centered, I like the learner to be an active participant in goal-setting. I take input from both parent and child and am very firm on learning criteria while being kind and gentle with the children.
