About Alexandra

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, caring, and helpful. In my spare time, I like to go fishing or do word searches. I've also recently started a garden to be outdoors more. One thing you should know about me is I started caring for seniors back in 2013 when my grandfather got diagnosed with tongue and throat cancer. I was 14 and I was taking time off school to make sure my grandfather had someone to bath, feed, give medication, and do vocal activities to regain his speech. He was later diagnosed with skin cancer. Which then lead to me doing wound dressings. After multiple rounds of chemo and radiation he later passed in 2015. I then applied and got into my schools Certified Nursing assistants program and graduated with my CNA certification in 2017. I've been working in healthcare since. My skills include CPR certified, bathing, feeding, dressing, medication management, rehab activities, light cleaning, and comfort care. I would also like to include I am a non-smoker.
