About Alexandra

Hi! My name is Alex. I was a special education teacher for 5 years and now I'm a school social worker at a K-8 public school. I have many years of experience supporting kids with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, and trauma. I have been babysitting and working with kids for the past 12 years, and have 3 years of tutoring experience in all subject areas. I graduated in 2018 from Tufts University and received my MSW from Boston University in 2023. I'm originally from NYC, but am now based in Somerville, MA. Since I work in school systems, I have June-August off and live out in Montauk! I played soccer in college so I love being outside with kids and being active. I enjoy cooking as well and have plenty of meal prepping experience. I also am a therapist so I'm more than happy to work in some social emotional learning with your kids as well!
