I have many years of experience as a caretaker. I have worked as a CNA, home health care aide, and DSP for all ages and degrees of care needed (from newborn to hospice). I have a BS in Anthropology degree and went back to school for a second BS in nursing but left the program after 3 years for personal reasons. Currently, I am getting certifications through NASM as a Personal Trainer and as a part of that I will also be recertifying for CPR-AED again in the near future. When working with adults I only assist where needed in order to enable the greatest degree of independence possible and prevent atrophy. I have some pet allergies but I'll take a Zyrtec and put up with them for the right family.

Alexandra has cared for my 96 year old mother for close to 3 years and is an exceptionally smart, caring, trustworthy and “do good” type of person. She has a very patient and uplifting temperament which brightens all that are in her presence. She has always been very responsible and genuinely concerned about my mother’s well being and goes out of her way to be helpful and come up with “out of the box solutions”. She is very sensitive and respectful of my mother. Her background in nursing and knowledge of nutrition and cooking is a great plus. My mother truly adores her.
