About Alexandra

Alexandra believes that learning is a unique journey for each child that will unlock endless opportunities. During her three years at Earlington Heights Elementary, 90% of her students performed at or above proficient on the FSA standardized state test. While teaching there, she started two non-profits, one offering yoga and mediation to students and the surrounding community and the other starting the first elementary school music program in the district. Alexandra then taught in DC for two years at a charter school before branching off on her own to create a successful business during COVID. Alexandra believes in getting to know each of her students to understand what motivates them and which learning style works best to help capitalize on and develop their skills. Alexandra has experience teaching both Tier 1 and Tier 2 instruction with a focus on reading intervention, which caters specifically to a student's independent reading level, along with teaching student's with IEPs.
