Alexandra has worked with us 20-40 hours/week for the past year and is hands down the beat nanny of the 4 or 5 we've hired since becoming parents. She has a Mary Poppins-like ability to engage kids and lead them while being responsive and playful. She has worked with us through lots of developmental stages - including potty training - and brings patience, kindness, and respect to every interaction with our daughter. She's able to hold a boundary with empathy, initiates and appreciates direct communication, and is proactive at suggesting solutions. Alexandra is smart, thoughtful, and just generally the kind of person you want your kid to grow up to become. We'll miss her dearly when we move away and are so grateful for the influence she's had on our daughter the past year.
