In fact, with my passion for helping others, I graduated with a degree in nursing in 2019 and have experience working as an orthopedic nurse for the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System but wanted to expand my horizons through private home care. I worked with helping patients of all ages, races and ethnicities. My duties included bathing, help to the restroom, administering medications, ambulating, changing linens, checking blood sugars/vital signs and much more. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering! Alex did an excellent job of caring for my disabled friend after his release from rehab. She assisted him with dressing, mobility (transferring), toileting, and bathing. She helped him access the gym, and with housekeeping and meal preparation. She used a sit-to-stand lift for transferring, and found it easy to use. She was trustworthy and on time, and was willing to shift her schedule to cover times when other care givers were not available. My friend will miss her, but Medicaid is taking over his care. I highly recommend Alex!
