I have been babysitting for 14 years, and work in the Neonatal ICU giving hands on care to our most fragile and precious babies. I have previously worked as a caregiver in a nursery, a part-time and full time nanny for infants as well as children up to 10 years of age, a medication nurse (not registered) for a mentally disabled adult group, as well as a nursing assistant in a memory care facility. I love interacting with people of all ages and levels of need. I find great joy in outdoor activities, cooking, and simply being around others. It might sound weird, but I don't even own a tv! Now don't get me wrong- I use my computer , but I love to spend my free time listening to music, embroidering clothes, running my online thrift store, hiking, and cycling. I always follow the parents lead, but I love a limited screens approach while I'm there so we can explore and learn new things together!

Alexandra babysat for us super last minute due to another sitter canceling. She was on-time and stepped right into our crazy life with four kids. Our kids immediately warmed up to her thanks to her playful demeanor. She also worked with our exclusively breastfed baby that normally rejects bottles and got her to eat 4 ounces from a bottle. She was a great communicator and our kids keep asking for her to babysit again.
