My name is Alex and I am a 26-year-old special education teacher with New Hanover county schools. I am a Virginia native and recently moved to the area with my fiancé. I have had pets all my life including dogs, cats, a ferret, birds, and fish. Right now I have a 5-year-old lab/golden retriever mix named Montauk. We trained him as a puppy through Canine Companions for Independence. We got to keep him because he failed due to possible health conditions (lucky us:)). I have pet sat in the past for dogs and cats of various sizes and breeds. I also I have experience administering medication including insulin. I am vegan, and I love all animals and I think they deserve the best quality of life. Montauk and I love going on adventures, walking around the park or the beach, exploring new places, or just snuggling on the couch. I would love to meet and care for your furry friends!
