About Alexandra

I'm a childcare provider and Registered Behavioral Technician with professional experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), supporting children with autism and other developmental & behavioral needs, primarily ages 2-7. In my clinical work, I provided one-on-one support under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior plans focused on functional communication, emotional regulation, & functional daily living skills. My work centered on helping children build meaningful ways to communicate and engage with the world around them- using visual supports & interest-based learning to make skill-building feel natural and child-led. As a student myself, I know how powerful it is when learning feels like play- whether that's practicing counting through painting hand turkeys, or turning everyday routines into something joyful (like our Chicken Nugget Song during meal prep). I'm currently completing my MSW at FU with a focus on pediatric social work.
