About Alexandra

I have been supporting families with childcare since I was 11 years old as the "premiere neighborhood babysitter"! I babysit children from infancy to young adulthood and spent summers as a certified lifeguard and swim instructor for camps, teaching children to swim from ages 6-12. In my 20s, I nannied children ages 9 months-5 years before I became a teaching artist where I taught 80 middle schoolers to hula hoop. This was all before I became am a licensed special education teacher with 10 years of experience in the NYC Department of Education and worked there for 11 years before moving to Santa Fe . I love working with children and families, I believe in strength-based relationship building, empowering children to be their absolute best selves and work together to thrive socially, emotionally, interpersonally, and academically.
