Hello, My name is Alexandra, I go by Sasha. I am fortunate to love her job. For the last several years, I've had the gracious opportunity to teach students aged 5-12 using project-based, inquiry-based, Montesorri, and Reggio styles. I love helping kids learn, laugh, feed their curiosity, and nurture their personalities and individual passions. From babysitting to counselor training to art therapy, I've had years of experience creating comfortable, nurturing, creative environments for children. At NYU, I studied child development. I've worked in schools since 2018. In the past, I've babysat 11-month-old infants, up to 10-year-olds. We had a fantastic experience with Sasha who cared for our nearly 2-year old and our 4 year old! Even before she started working for us, Sasha showed how caring she was, inquiring about our parenting styles, preferences, etc. It was clear that she truly cared about her (and our) relationship with our children and wanted to provide a wonderful experience. Which she certainly did. The kids had FUN with Sasha and we could be comfortable knowing that we had left them in the care of someone kind, caring and responsible. Our daughter is still talking about her and I have it on good authority that the only reason our son isn't is he can't talk yet. If you've ever hired someone to watch your children who you suspect would rather be watching their phone, this is the opposite experience entirely. It was obvious Sasha loves what she does, takes her responsibilities seriously and is gifted with children. Finally, I'll note that our home was left very clean, toys and dishes, etc, put away, and that saved us a lot of time. Working with Sasha was a fantastic experience overall.
