About Alexandra

I have been caring for children since I was 14. I began working in church childcare and baby sitting in high school. I also worked for a family friend's daycare thru college. I now have two children, 4. 5 and 1. 5. I just ended a nanny job with a 4 & 2 y/o, caring for all four kids full time. I found I really enjoyed having more kids around, and it truly was easier than my two alone! We go on field trips - I have a membership to almost everything (the zoo, aquarium, etc). I also will be homeschooling next year. I am now looking to start caring for 1-3 kids, either full- or part-time. • I like working with kids because it has truly made me a better person in every way. I have learned patience, communication skills, and conflict resolution! • In my time outside of caring for children, I work as a hairstylist and yoga teacher. I love to be outside on a sunny day - running/walking, exploring, taking the kids to a new park, etc. • I am first aid/CPR certified in children and adults.
