As an immigrant from Africa Ghana to be precise, I'm very passionate about taking care of an elderly and vulnerable people in our society who can't help themselves. I was so closed to my father that I was the one taking care of him during his elderly age before he died in December 2007. The only word my father kept saying to me whiles alive was "Remember to do to others like the way you are doing for me wherever you find yourself" Any family member who hires me will never regret ever having me to work for them as their caregiver. He knows exactly how to handle the challenges that come with the disease, especially when anxiety or confusion arise. His ability to gently de-escalate situations and help Steve feel calm and safe is something we deeply value. We trust Alexander completely. He communicates openly, is reliable, and always keeps to schedules. Beyond providing excellent personal care, he also keeps the home organized, takes Steve out for walks and exercise, and finds ways to keep him engaged and active.
