I have hands-on experience providing care and support for a 21-year-old individual with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. In this role, I assisted with homework and learning, provided transportation, helped reinforce appropriate decision-making and understanding of right and wrong, prepared meals, and supported his daily needs and independence. This experience taught me the importance of patience, compassion, communication, and adapting to each individual's unique needs. I am passionate about helping others and am willing to go above and beyond to provide meaningful support and care. As a pre-med student studying healthcare, I have a strong interest in working with individuals with disabilities and gaining more experience in this area. I hope to continue developing my skills while making a positive difference in the lives of the people I care for.
