About Alexa

Hi I'm Alexa! A little about myself, I was born and raised in the Northland area and moved to LA at 18 and lived there for 11 years and recently moved home a year ago and decided on a career change to become a teacher. I am reliable and I have 10 years of experience working with children ranging from 2 months old to 10+ years old. I currently work as a K-12 substitute teacher, which has strengthened my ability to adapt to different personalities, learning styles, and age groups while creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children. I have experience helping with daily routines, meal prep, homework support, educational activities, and maintaining a structured yet fun atmosphere. Families would describe me as patient, dependable, organized, and attentive. I genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with both children and parents and helping kids feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
