I have several years of hands-on experience caring for people with special needs. I've worked with individuals with cerebral palsy for about 4 years, as well as young children on the autism spectrum and individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's for 3 years. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, understanding, compassion, and being attentive to each person's individual needs. I'm comfortable providing hands-on support, following routines, and taking the time to make someone feel safe, respected, and comfortable. I truly enjoy helping others and take pride in being someone families can depend on.
