About Alexa

Alexa has been with our family for over 3 years! She is kind, punctual, responsible, innovative, hardworking and loving. All of the qualities you would want in your child's caregiver. Alexa started with us when we moved to Portland and our first child was 4 months old. She has been with him till he is now >3 years old. She is constantly engaging with him - taking him to activities (swimming, art, basketball etc) and making activities for him at home (sensory activities, art projects etc). She has helped us establish his amazing sleep schedule and now potty training. She is very well aware of current children recommendations as she is constantly reading to be the best caregiver she can be. She was with us through my 2nd pregnancy and now with our 6 month old E. She has training as a doula, and these skills really were helpful for us during that time (for example, making lactation cookies, providing recommendations for myself and my baby, and picking up the routine of a newborn without any hesitation or issue!) Her extensive time with us should be a testament of how wonderful this person is. I trust her with my children as if they were their own. She integrated into our family very well. She has my HIGHEST recommendation, and whichever family snags up this gem is going to be incredibly lucky.
