Nice to meet you! I'm Alexa. I'm a teacher candidate striving for my CA elementary teaching credential and Master's in Education at UCSB. I spent 5 years teaching English in France and Japan. I am fluent in French and conversational in Japanese. I've worked with children both in and out of the classroom for nearly 12 years, largely with children ages 8-15, but some experience with ages 3-6 as well. It's so much fun to help their curiosity and creativity grow! I'm passionate about helping kids find their voices, express their needs, and enjoy new experiences.
