Hello! My name is Alexa. I am a certified Special Education teacher. I have spent the last two years living abroad in Mandalay, Myanmar. I started one of the first support programs in the country for people with disabilities in Myanmar. My love for children has always been a huge part of my life. For as long as I can remember, I have nannied, babysat or worked as a caregiver for those in my community. In college, I nannied for a family for over 2 years. They since have become a second family to me. In my move to Grand Rapids, I am hoping to find another second family that I can join.
